2025 International Music Creation Camp Results Released

1. Taipei "2025 MÜST International Music Creation Camp"

Time: August 23-28 (coming soon)1

Venue: Taipei Grand Hotel

Features:

Group creation mode, the first group needs to complete the Chinese lyrics, and can change groups to create later1.

Participating members must have English communication skills, and the copyright of the work is divided equally by default (can be agreed separately)1.

Results preview: The shortlist has been announced, and it is expected that many cross-cultural collaboration works will be born after the August event2.

2. Taipei "Mando Pop Go Global International Creation Camp"

Time: May 15 (already held)6

Organizers: Cultural Planning Agency, Taipei Pop Music Center, Warner Music

Results:

International musicians (such as Grammy Award winner Damon Sharpe, Korean drama OST creator Sarah.J, etc.) collaborated with Chinese singers (Wei Li'an, Bo Lin, Yan Yige, etc.) to complete 17 original songs in three days, most of which have been selected and released by record companies5.

Bo Lin was nominated for the Golden Melody Award during the creation period and discussed the creative concept of "local stories, world language" with the team5.

3. Hong Kong "AI Assisted Music Creation Workshop"

Time: July 5-6 (already held)8

Highlights:

Discuss the combination of AI and music creation, including virtual idol sound generation, intelligent arrangement and other technical applications.

Outstanding works were performed by Hong Kong virtual idol Vi and made into MVs for display8.

4. Shanghai "Nine Trees Beethoven International Art Festival"

Time: Opening on July 15 (ongoing)7

Achievements:

Performances that integrate Chinese and Western music, such as "Chopin Meets Jiangnan Sizhu", show cultural dialogue through classic re-creation7.

Nine Trees Philharmonic Orchestra collaborates with the historic Lyceum Theater to create an "Ancient and Modern Cultural Corridor"7.

5. Other activities

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Popular Song Creation Competition: 8 works are shortlisted for the finals and will be announced in Macau on September 138.

Hong Kong Youth Music Camp: A concert will be held in August to showcase the results of cooperation between young musicians and international masters10.
